Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions are a contract between you and Shubham Soni, who runs the Snailarm app. They are legally binding, so please read them.

Summary

  • Snailarm is run by Shubham Soni, an individual in Indore, India.
  • You own what you post. You give us a limited licence to show it inside the App.
  • Do not harass people, post illegal content, or share someone's private photo without consent.
  • Apple or Google handle all payments. Refunds follow their rules.
  • Snailarm is not medical advice. Do not rely on it alone where a missed alarm could cause harm.
  • You can delete your account inside the App at any time.

1. Who we are

Snailarm is operated by Shubham Soni, an individual based in Indore, Dwarkapuri, India. No company is registered for the App. Contact us at shubhamsonicse@gmail.com.

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account or using Snailarm, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy linked in the App. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

3. Age

Snailarm is rated 16+ on the Apple App Store and Google Play. You must be 16 or older to use it.

We do not ask for your date of birth, so we do not check your age at sign-up. Before you post or chat in a squad, you must confirm that you are 16 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it.

4. Your account

  • You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email.
  • Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe. Do not share your account.
  • Tell us at shubhamsonicse@gmail.com straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.

5. What Snailarm is

Snailarm is an alarm clock you cannot snooze. The alarm rings until you finish a mission, such as press-ups, a walk or a sum. Alarms, missions and streaks work offline. Squads and backups need an account and an internet connection.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • harass, threaten, bully or hurt other people;
  • post or send content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that shows or encourages violence or self-harm;
  • share anyone's private photo, or post a photo of another person, without their consent;
  • post or send links in squad feeds or chat;
  • post spam, scams or advertising, or pretend to be someone else;
  • break into our systems, copy or reverse-engineer the App, scrape data, or overload the service;
  • get around limits we set, such as two feed posts a day in a public squad;
  • use the App in any way that breaks the law.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Squads

Squad members can see your streak, best streak, total, average wake-up time over 30 days, last seven days and favourite task. In a private squad, they can also see the time you got up today. Members cannot see your email address, alarm times or location.

Public squads are open to people 16 or older. Strangers in a public squad can see your stats and posts. Think before you share.

8. Your content

You own what you post, including text, photos, chat messages, your display name and your profile picture ("your content").

You give us a limited licence to host, store, copy and show your content to members of the squads where you post it, and to run the App. The licence is free, worldwide and non-exclusive. It ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for your content. Get permission before you post a photo of another person.

You can report, mute or block any post, message or member. Our team reviews reports and may remove content or restrict an account.

9. Purchases and refunds

  • Snailarm starts with a free trial. The trial length and the price after it are shown in the App before you buy.
  • Apple App Store or Google Play takes your payment, not us.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your store account before the renewal date. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies. Please ask the store.
  • Use Restore purchases in Settings if you bought on another device.
  • If your subscription ends, you lose access to the full App. Alarms you have already set still ring as plain alarms.
  • If a store rule and these Terms conflict on a payment matter, the store rule wins.

10. Intellectual property

We own the App, including its design, Tock, the Snailarm name and logo, and its code and artwork. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, change or sell it, except where the law allows.

11. Third parties and permissions

Third-party services, such as Apple and Google for payments, follow their own terms. Some missions use your camera, microphone, motion sensors or barcode scanner. The App asks for permission first.

12. Health and safety

Snailarm is not medical advice and is not a safety device. Missions such as press-ups and walks involve physical activity. Stop if you feel unwell, and speak to a doctor before you start a new exercise routine.

13. Disclaimers

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always work or be error-free.
  • An alarm may not ring if your phone is off, out of battery, on silent or in Do Not Disturb mode, or if notifications or alarm permissions are off.
  • Streaks, stats and squad information may be out of date while your phone is offline.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss caused by a missed alarm. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us through the App in the 12 months before your claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

15. Ending your account

You can delete your account inside the App: Settings, then Account and data, then Danger zone, then Delete account. Enter your password if you have one. If you have no password, type DELETE to confirm.

Deleting your account removes your sign-in details, profile, squad places, squad posts and the stats we hold on our server. Alarms on your phone stay unless you tick the box to erase them. It does not cancel your subscription. We may keep records where the law requires it.

We may suspend or end your account if you break these Terms. The sections on liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply afterwards.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a claim against us comes from your content, your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Please contact us first at shubhamsonicse@gmail.com. Nothing here takes away any consumer rights you have where you live.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will change the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will tell you in the App before they take effect. If you keep using the App, you accept the new Terms.
